“Suzy and Alex were an amazing addition to our wedding! It’s not like having wedding photographers to your wedding, but extra wedding guests. They are completely charming and we’ve had so many comments from guests not just on the incredible quality of the photographs but also on how Suzy and Alex took them. Instead of one mammoth family photo session, you barely know Suzy and Alex are there! When they did do the posed photos, it was later during the canapés which was very clever as it became a sort of entertainment for the guests! “Suzy and Alex photographed our wedding in August 2018 back in our university town of Lancaster. We were planning our entire wedding from Tanzania, where we live and work, yet they made us feel at ease with their organisation, quick responses and professional (yet super friendly) attitude.
On the day itself, not only did they capture some beautiful moments, but they also got stuck in and helped out sometimes too. Alex even lent the boys a hand decorating our venue which we weren’t allowed access to until the day of the wedding!

“Suzy and Alex were an absolute pleasure from start to finish, in the initial chat, the pre-wedding shoot, and to have around for the wedding day, plus the beautiful way the photographs were posted over afterwards. So many people have commented not only on the pictures (which are such a perfect capture of the day) but how friendly and unobtrusive they both were, not making our guests feel like they were being watched. The pre-wedding shoot was the perfect way for us to have the chance to get a bit more relaxed in front of the camera, and it was actually really nice to calm nerves if you feel as though you never get any nice photos of the two of you! Being able to know that they were going to turn up and do a great job meant another thing ticked off, and one less thing to be worrying about as the day approached and everything was coming together. We initially chose them (being one of the first sets of our friend to marry so no recommendations anywhere!) due to their portfolio and for the reason that having the pair of them allows them to be getting the more formal “official” photos and the more documentary ones at the same time, and they really captured all aspects of the day, getting ready in the morning, then a church wedding and then a much less formal setting for the afternoon and evening. When we spoke before booking in, it was nice to be in agreement about the importance of family photos as well as the less staged ones and feel as though this was really listened to when it came to seeing the finished set. An extra thanks to Suzy for her assistance in the morning with some minor bridesmaid dress safety-pinning! The previews were sent through the day after the wedding, and the full set were ready just over a week later, which was great to be able to share so soon after and for everybody enquiring about them when we returned from honeymoon and so exciting to see and share. I would (and do!) recommend them to anyone, and can’t wait to see them and their photos at and from our friends’ wedding next year, and hopefully more in the future. “Suzy and Alex did an absolutely amazing job of our wedding photography. It was great to have two photographers to get different perspectives - Suzy came to me on the morning to photograph the bridal party getting ready, while Alex went to see the groom to capture him getting ready and guests arriving.
Suzy and Alex were happy to discuss different pictures that we wanted and took on board our ideas. Suzy also did a pre-wedding shoot which was great to get an idea of what our wedding photos would be like but also to give us a chance to tell Suzy more about our wedding and our relationship.
Loads of guests commented on how good they were at getting everyone into position whilst also being really unassuming. The more formal photo taking lasted a perfect amount time and Suzy and Alex made us and our guests feel at ease.

“Suzy and Alex photographed our wedding at Carden Park last week and they were absolutely amazing. Suzy spent the morning before the wedding with me whilst I was getting ready, and alongside taking the photos she went out of her way to help with anything we needed, getting us drinks and generally making sure we were okay. After booking, we decided and were recommended by friends to have a pre-wedding shoot. We spoke to Suzy and she was very enthusiastic and accommodating about it. We organised the shoot and it was exactly what we needed. Suzy was very calming and fun, which really put us both at ease. We tried different poses and styles and Suzy got to know what we were comfortable with and what we weren’t . When we got our photos back from the big day it was clear she had taken all of this on board.

Leading up to the wedding day, we gave Suzy a list of the family/formal photos and also showed some photos styles we really liked on Pinterest, which she worked into the photos on the day.

On The big day, Alex came to our flat to Nick and the Groomsmen and Suzy went to the Hotel to Stacey and the Bridesmaids. They were both so friendly and calming on the day, completely un-intrusive and caught some great moments getting ready. When we came to the formal photographs, everything went completely smoothly and Suzy and Alex have a great knack of keeping things fun and not feeling like a role call. Suzy even managed to get a bus driver to let us on the bus for a few quick snaps! Then in the evening they set up the photo booth which was great, everyone had some really fun photos.

We are so happy and impressed with the Photographs, Suzy and Alex managed to capture our day excellently. They were both so friendly and fun but the results so how professional they are. They captured the day, using the venue and surroundings to take some absolutely amazing photos. They were so accommodating to what we wanted and it really felt that the photographs were suited to us rather than to the style of the photographer - which we have seen by other weddings photographers.
